I believe that work, though is a responsibility or an obligation, it should be accomplished with dignity and without force.

Good pay is always desirable. However, regardless of the pay, once you have accepted a job, then you are obliged to do it with gusto.

As always, thanks for the thoughtful comment shiera. ^^,

@ tracey

Am so glad we are on the same wave length there Tracey -thanks. To me, this is a very important concern that needed much attention, especially for the young professional out there.

@ jon

Thanks for the compliment and for the great header there. Hope to see ya more often jon.

@ mommie

True. I know you can relate well, being in the corporate world for quite sometime like me.

When I was heading my own department before, I have always advocated that if you cannot project a positive attitude at work, either you change or leave my department. Harsh huh.

To me, I would rather be harsh on that, than let a negative attitude influence others and bring the whole organization down. As you said, attitudes (good or bad) are contagious. I would rather put a cap on a bad attitude once and for all than let my team suffer.

Positive attitude are always preferable.Ronnie Ferezhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10796367599675943311noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4794872422811591377.post-13899403694481893302008-02-04T22:39:00.000+08:002008-02-04T22:39:00.000+08:00Attitudes are terribly contagious in the workplace...Attitudes are terribly contagious in the workplace. I've been in both situations, surrounded by people with negative attitudes and then those with positive ones. Sometimes I wished that the negative attitude people would have been taken aside and "spoken" to, as they brought down not only departments but the company as a whole.

Mommie
http://www.mommieshome.netMommiehttp://www.mommieshome.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4794872422811591377.post-14041669000388440022008-02-04T19:28:00.000+08:002008-02-04T19:28:00.000+08:00Hey great article on Personal Development--this is...Hey great article on Personal Development--this is JB from 11xi85.com by the way, I have been out of commission for a while now, but have started running eBay Niche Blog and another website. I am 57 and haven't worked outside the home all that much, but when I did I saw some really good work attitudes by people younger than me, and some really pathetic ones. Just recently I wrote on my blog Pentimento about a young waitress we encountered who no longer has a job because she felt "put upon" because she had to make a milk shake or two. Incredible, but true.webduckhttp://ipentimento.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4794872422811591377.post-14774733419304525742008-01-31T19:42:00.000+08:002008-01-31T19:42:00.000+08:00I'm also a firm believer in attitude and the way i...I'm also a firm believer in attitude and the way it impacts on your whole approach to life and what outcomes will be achieved.
