yeah, am quite tough as an HR Manager but I've learned to mellow through the years. Hiring and firing people is not easy, let alone counseling employees with performance or any other problems.

Ponder this: you are JUST FINE being introverted! I recently finish "The Introvert Advantage" and I learned a lot.

We are so blessed to have many ways to communicate these days. We can work with people, over the internet, yet remain our wonderful, introverted selves!

Consider reading the book (forgot the author, stop by and i'll look it up for you! :) and embracing your ISTJ nature. That actually sounds pretty familiar. I know I scored 'pretty darn introverted' in the quiz from the IA book.

You are very brave going into HR and maybe a little stronger for it. There ARE ways however.

You are in VERY good company - Bill Gates is an introvert and he's doing just fine.

Funny you should mention that.

It always takes someone to make the first move and then everyone else will follow. That's just human nature even online, eh?

But for blogs specifically, I find that I get more traction from the smaller blog authors. It's like a closer community where you all help each other to succeed.

Kind of like growing up together in high school.

Actually I landed in Europe via Chicago by a chance landing in a European chat site. Now some ten years later of happy togetherness, looking back it is like a dream. I decided to concentrate on one person and give 100%. This is before all this new technology. Before we just had an internet connection and a telephone. What is your problem guy?
