Right Solution for Employees’ Time Pilferage

If you are an employee, most likely you are guilty of time pilferage once in a while. Time is a very precious commodity for employers or business owners. Time can mean cost or investment. It can also mean profit or loss. Hence, an employee time tracking solution is indispensable in their operations. While they treasure it, employees tend to devalue it. Somehow, I noticed that occasionally we put value on it only when the payroll section miscalculated our over time pays.Time pilferage is a serious issue, and is a terminable offense in some companies. When or how does an employee commit this? Time pilferage is committed when:
  • we are always late for work;
  • we ‘over-break’ or we extend break beyond the time allotted;
  • we don’t finish our task/s on time;
  • we do other things than what we are paid for (I am sure, you will be able to fill a 11x 8 paper in less than 30 minutes for the list of these things –I’ll bet on that ^_^);
  • work off-site and we fail to log our correct time rendered.
Clockspot.net bannerYou can add on the list. These things can now be avoided with the deployment of an online time clock by Clockspot. With this web time clock, employers and managers can efficiently track employees’ time anytime, anywhere. An employee can log-in via phone or pc, and the same data is reflected in the system. Moreover, with its reporting features, a report can be extracted, trend established, and an employee’s time input on a particular task is assessed and monitored.

If you are an employer or the HR Head of your organization, you’ve just found the right solution for your employees’ time pilferage with Clockspot.

Good post. :-)

But then it's not as thrilling from an employee standpoint. But then for the management, it's definitely a valuable solution.

Thanks Helen. ^^,

I know. If I am still a rank-and-file employee, I would have viewed this as suppressive. However, when I started managing, and now owning my own business, I began to look at time pilferage in a more serious way.
