Social Network for Sports Enthusiasts

I love playing basketball when I was in college. Nevertheless, I never imagined that watching has a lot more thrill when something is at stake, money that is. I have said I have never been a gambler, although occasionally I buy basketball picks. On a couple of occasions, I was lucky but most of the time otherwise.

Incidentally, there is a new social network in town that gives a venue for sports enthusiast to post, share, buy, and sell sports picks. Yeah -Oddsbreakers.com. This is quite different. This is actually; institutionalizing sports picks over the net.

The good thing though, if you are enjoying betting on basketball picks or football picks, you can find a lot of information here so that your odds may climb a little higher. Ask other members and learn from their strategies as well. Try it. Signing up is free.

Three Key Factors for Online Business Success

Putting your business online is not as easy as some people will convince you to believe. It involves hardwork and patience. Your success relies heavily on at least three important factors, namely; web design, traffic, and convenience.
  1. Website design includes the overall aesthetics appeal of your site (form), relevant information contain therein (substance), and navigational features (functions). Take another look at your site and ask the following questions: Is it an attention grabber? Are the information relevant and useful to your potential clients? Can your visitors easily find what they are looking for?

  2. Traffic, traffic, and traffic. Without which there is no way you will earn from your online business. Should I add more? Make your site SEO friendly and have it registered to directories and major search engines.

  3. Convenience. If you browse your web site and decided to buy, how do you proceed? If you cannot answer that immediately, then you probably do not have a shopping cart software. An excellent ecommerce software or solution provided by Ashop Commerce is what you need. Do not sell online without it. It is what makes online shopping easy and convenient. Have it installed in your site.
Do not let your efforts go in vain. To recap, make your website a sort of a welcome billboard in the net to draw potential clients into it. It takes money to make money , right? So, invest in optimizing your site for traffic and search engines. Lastly, invest on a functional and reliable shopping cart software like Ashop.

Quick Car Buying Common Sense Guide

As they say, “buying a used car could be frustrating, and it is like buying someone’ else junk.” Well, that could be partly true if you lack the common sense in your purchase.

Between buying new cars and used ones, I’d always go for the latter. Why? Value depreciation of new car is faster than its o to 1 mile mark. The price of that new car you bought today is almost (+/-)15% less when you wake up in the morning. On the other hand, if you have the budget for it, then go for it. However, for young professionals like me, a good quality used car is the best alternative.

Here is a quick car buying common sense guide for those who prefer to buy used car:
  • Your Car. Define or determine what type (make and model) of car you really want. At least list 3 of your best choices. This will lessen your frustrations when you started shopping for your ideal car. Write down the basic specs, your preferences.
  • Your Car Reviews. Next, review your list by finding everything about your car. Read car reviews over the net or from car magazines. Compare specs and prices. Rewrite your list if you deem needed.
  • Your Car Dealer. Then find a reliable and refutable used car reseller or dealer. You can easily decide on this if you have done no.2 above. Part of reviewing is finding and comparing offers from several dealership. You can start with MotorsToday’s web site.
  • Your Car Finance. Then last but not the least, determine how you are going to acquire your car. My first choice after you’ve done 1 to 3 above, is start saving for that car , or prolly, you should have done that already before you decided on the purchase. If not, find a good car loan facility that will offer you a competitive price and interest rate.
There you go. Oh, lest I forget, before you take home that baby and make all the necessary payments, don’t forget to check the completeness of the documents, and please test drive the car will ya. ^^,

Smart Online Gambling

Do you have money to spare? Do you frequent casinos or the sport stadium to see your favorite teams and bet? On the other hand, do you simply want to gamble as a part of your free time leisure activity (I will not recommend it as a habit, that is entirely different okay)?

Here is the score: you can do those past time favorites of yours in the convenience of your own home. Yeah. Casino online, sports betting and other similar games are available online. The problem though, there are thousands of these proliferating and operating in the net. How do you pick the authentic and the reliable from the rest? It will be foolhardy, not fun, and time consuming to compare and choose. Well, not if you allow a third party to do that for you. This third party will sift through all these online games by comparing and ranking them. So that you can make an intelligent pick, and gamble smartly. ^_^

Get paid to blog is not easy as others may claim. That is especially if you are considering this on a full time basis as your primary source of income. You need to have the basic writing skills, a good blogging platform, plenty of time to spare optimizing your blog, and most of all an excellent blog advertising partner.

There are two popular means to blog for money, namely: (1) passive income generation through advertising within your blog and affiliate marketing, (2) active income generation through writing paid posts or reviews. In the former, you need only to place snippets of code in your site from the advertisers and let it generate income for you. Income returns here is slow yet steady. Of course, huge traffic is required if you need higher conversion for your ads. The latter, IMO, is better. Write a good post/review for the advertiser following their requirements then you are paid upon approval.

Now, if you want a reliable ‘get paid for blogging’ partner to help you monetize your blog, Smorty is the better alternative. 4 Killer Tips to Attract Her and Keep it that Way

Dan Bacon succinctly summed it:
“The first thing you need to know about how to attract women is that: It is something that you can learn.”
Everything can be learned, that is if one is willing to learn. Having laid that premise let me offer 4 practical killer tips in attracting women and keeping them attracted. Dan gave 3 already; I will add 4 from an Asian perspective:

  • Be yourself. (1) Be natural. In Dan’s word, do not try to impress her. Do not pretend to be someone else. (2) Do not lie or exaggerated. Asian women (I think it is also true for the rest regardless of race or gender) hate lies and many of them can be unforgiving on this (forgive me ladies for saying that). Sometimes, in our desire to be accepted, we lie about some things about us that we thought we can confess later and be forgiven. It is a wrong assumption brother. (3) Be truthful and honest at the outset, she will love you for that.
  • Look good. (1) Good grooming is imperative. If packaging differentiates a product from the rest, and so is, your grooming will differentiate you from the rest of the guys. (2) Wear the appropriate (always neat) clothes in situations that call for it. You do not have to be fancy, nor do you have to wear expensive signature brands. You can look good if you wear set clothes that suit you. Ask somebody to assess you in this department. (3) Oh, lest I forget, make sure that you smell good. Women love men who smells good, make that as the label of your packaging.
  • Feel good. Be confident but not cocky. Feeling good has something to do with your zest for life and having a positive disposition in all things. By the way, if you feel good, that is contagious. In addition, if you made her feel good too because of that, you are closer to the home base more than you know dude.
  • Show interest. (1) Pay her an honest compliment. Compliment her shoes, her, or anything that might be important to her. Remember, there are many things that we consider non-sense or too trivial and yet are so important to them. (2) Pay attention to her when she is talking. She loves to have all your attention focused on her. Stop ogling the long-legged woman on the side. Asian women love to be pursued and demand faithfulness to the letter. Although this is already the tech age of the 21st century, many among them are still conservative when it comes to dating or courtship. Bear that in mind will ya. (3) Moreover, show interest but do not attempt to be aggressive and assuming.
The killer tips above are considered second stage tactics. If you want to learn how to get girls to notice you or how to pick up a beautiful woman, let Dan teach you how, here.

There you go. Care to add guys? Or ladies, perhaps you want to refute any of those?

Insurance: Money that you don’t see?

It is a common misconception that insurance is an additional expense. Viewed this way, we shun Insurance Quotes that arrives at our doorstep. When in fact, if you have not availed of or enrolled in a Term Life insurance, this is actually a favor being done for you, not nuance you thought of.

Insurance is actually an investment on your future and that of your immediate family. It is money that you don’t see after you have the insurance premiums paid, but it is there growing, maturing, and available when least expected.

Furthermore, don’t you know that you can actually save money on insurance? How? By investing early or including the insurance premium payment in your employee benefit package. The next time you ask for a raise, include insurance on the package.

A New Ballgame in Dating

It was observed that more and more modern or yuppie women are non-committal when it comes to long-term relationship. Work or career has become predominantly the focus of their attentions, energy, and time; while commitment to a relationship takes a back seat. This was not the case almost two decades ago, where the men are the non-committal species. Why is this? Why the shift? I don’t have the answers but this sure deserves pondering.

Women today stand on equal footing. Gone are the traditional or cultural typecast where they are always subject to the domain of men. Not to mention, the servitude impose on them on some remote cultures and society. They are on equal footing with us, meaning, they can match us in any way: career, tasks like soldiering, relationship, including fatherhood. Yeah! You heard it right. Single mothers are sometimes better at the role of fatherhood. Now, that’s another good topic to post, please remind me later.

Given the scenario above, dating has an entirely new ball game. You have to know how to be a good player. Now, you need to get back on the basics of courtship, if not, review the manual on how to seduce a woman. We used to hear that women seduce men –put that on the garbage bin. If you want a serious relationship, now is the time to learn how to seduce a woman. Remember, they are now of equal bearing with us. How do you do that? Where to start? Learn from the pro. Here, a click away.

On another note, if you are now in a relationship. It pays that you master the art of listening. Women love being paid attention to, being understood, and being cared for. Foremost, IMO, is being understood. You have to know how to read between the lines and understand body language. Women are expert on these mediums. Their deepest desires, longings and messages are encrypted in what they do not express in words –the body language. They do not tell you how important you are or how interesting you are in words or in letters. They will try to imply in the manner they speak, the manner they look at you, the manner they care for you. Fail to recognize those –you suck. They are always assuming that you understood what they meant even without the spoken words.

It is a new ball game in dating. Are you up for it? If not, try to learn more and be equipped. Receive your free email tips here.
